Bush Endorsed McCain

President Bush tipped his hat in favor of McCain for president. Given the president's approval ratings nationally and internationally, I think McCain would have been better off with an endorsement from Satan.

Your post left me wondering, "who WOULD Satan endorse?" I spent about an hour cruising various Satanic websites, blogs, and discussion groups to answer this.

Satanists are not by any means unified in political opinions, so this list is not going to make strict ideological sense, but here is who Satan (or at least Satanists) would endorse for President:

1. Hillary Clinton. She had by far the most support I saw, but some of those comments were from very early in the nominating process when she was the presumptive Democratic nominee.
2. Ron Paul. There is a strong neo-Nazi element among Satanists, and some of them suspect Paul is secretly a Nazi. A few even suggested he is secretly a Satanist.
3. Barack Obama. They claim his mother is an athiest (I have no idea whether or not that is true), and think he'll therefore be friendly to Satanists.
4. Mitt Romney. Some fellow thought that if Americans would tolerate a Mormon President, we would like Satanists better.

I could find no Satanists speaking well of either President Bush or John McCain. So, there's your Washington Post headline: "McCain Loses Coveted Satan Endorsement; Clinton, Paul, and Obama Lobby Hard for Satanic Delegates."
