The New Yorker, a bastion of satire for years, decided to push the envelope by doing a cover depicting all of the rumors associated with Senator Barack Obama. While I personally get that it was to make fun of the rumors, for every one person that thinks like me, a few hundred thousand are going to used that as gospel proof that the rumors about Sen. Obama are indeed fact.
Silly, silly
New Yorker...you should know better by now.

I've used satire a lot (i.e."God calls Bush", "God calls Trump") and I got a kick out of this cover. Of course I know the truth but I wonder how many Rednecks are going to say: "See there! The truth comes out!" Probably not enough to do any real damage to Obama. Personally I think it's going to be a landslide. We need a thinking President to get us out of this mess we're in.
